The First Day in My Dream School

When I first entered the University, London College of Communication, I had feelings of anxiety and excitement. I kept calming down and looking at this place, where I will stay and learning for my future. At the moment before stepping into the classroom, I was imagining what my classmates looked like, and how I would fit in.

When I stepped into the school, I felt that every corner around me was full of artistic atmosphere, and its unique style. This is an unforgettable moment in my life. The surrounding environment was very unfamiliar to me. I feel worried because of the language. After a long period of ideological struggling, I consulted the first school teacher I met. The communication between us was simple and smooth. Also, I got the location of my classroom after the conversation. The whole conversation did not fail to expose my English level. After this conversation, I felt that communicating with other students is not that complicated, and I need to be more confident and braver to communicate with others in future.

When I came to the front door of the classroom, I heard the laughing sound from other classmates. I imagined what the classmates looked like and what I was about to see. I opened the door with a sense of anxiety. From the language they use when they communicate, I know that some of them are Korean and most are Chinese. Because of language limitation, they tried their best to avoid me and formed a circle of their language. I am not surprised at this, nor disappointed. The only difference is that I can communicate in Chinese in addition to English. I quickly integrated into the Chinese circle and become their friend. Through this conversation, I think it is caused by the language limitation and not knowing each other for too long. I should increase the interaction between my other classmates and let them know I have no malice.

After the first day of school, I have greater expectations for the future. I hope to learn more new knowledge in school and get the chance to know more people from different countries and different fields of art.
